Workplace cultures have changed – and are heading in the right direction: The results of our HR Hub Poll in July 2022
Allen Associates Zoom HR Hub in July 2022 explored ways to achieve a workplace culture aligned to an organisation’s broader aims and aspirations. It was led by culture change specialist, Alex Walker, founder of Flint Change consultancy.
The employers and HR professionals that attended the webinar were asked to answer four multiple-choice questions on their own workplace culture. Their answers are set out below and provide an insight into how Oxfordshire-based organisations are tackling the issues.
Has your culture changed over the course of the Covid pandemic?
- 36% - Yes, for the better
- 22% - Yes, for the worse
- 17% - No, it’s remained pretty much the same
- 25% - Not sure, it’s hard to tell
To what extent does your existing culture reflect where you want it to be?
- 6% - It’s bang on!
- 64% - We’re heading in the right direction.
- 14% - A bit, but not much.
- 17% - It’s a million miles away!
Do you reflect your culture in all areas of your employee lifecycle?
- 19% - Yes
- 14% - No
- 61% - We’re trying
- 6% - Not sure
At job interviews, do candidates ever ask you about your culture?
- 72% - Yes
- 8% - No
- 19% - Not sure
