Allen Associates announces new management structure

The move will see Managing Director Kate Allen formally pass the baton to Director Eleanor Bromage who she has worked closely with for the last 20 years. Remaining very much in the business, Kate will take on the newly-created roles of Executive Chair and Marketing Director, while Rob Allen will continue as Finance Director.

Commenting on the reshuffle, Kate said: “Rob and I established Allen Associates in Oxford back in 1998, little imagining that it would grow to become the thriving business it is today. Our success is due to both our incredibly talented Allen Associates team and the fantastic  Oxfordshire clients and candidates who have been so loyal to us over so many years.

“As we celebrate our 25^th anniversary this year, we have reflected on our vision, our roles within the business and the ambitions within our team, arriving at a new and evolved management structure.

“I have thoroughly enjoyed leading Allen Associates as Managing Director but this is absolutely the right time to be handing over to Eleanor so that I can focus on my passion for building client relationships and finding new ways to add value to their recruitment experience through our programme of HR Hub events and other activities.

“The handover has been seamless; Eleanor has actually been informally in place as our MD over the last four months, and I look forward to continuing to work closely with her as we embark on the next phase of our journey together.”

Eleanor added: “Allen Associates is a wonderful place to work and I am delighted, and more than a little proud, that I have been entrusted with the opportunity to help drive the company forward as Managing Director. I will continue to work closely with Kate and Rob as I have done for the last 20 years, supported by an incredibly capable and committed team.”

While Kate, Eleanor and Rob make up Allen Associates’ board, they are joined in the day-to-day running of the business by Hannah Bush, who heads up the Temps Division, and who will work closely with Eleanor on an operational basis.

The new structure formally took effect on 1^st April 2023.
