Senior Full-Stack Software Engineer

Are you an experienced Senior Full-Stack Software Engineer able to support the development of a secure situational-awareness and operational-management platform.

The role will involve developing and integrating backend services, web-based operational dashboards, graphical user interfaces and mobile application services.

We are looking for someone with strong experience in:

-    Backend/API development using Node.js/TypeScript, Python, .NET or similar

-    Modern web development using React, Next.js or comparable frameworks

-    GUI and dashboard development

-    PostgreSQL and database design

-    AWS, Azure or equivalent cloud infrastructure

-    Authentication, permissions and secure application development

-    Real-time data, alerts, notifications and WebSockets

-    Mapping, geospatial data or location-based services

-    Integration with iOS applications, including push notifications and mobile APIs

-    Git, CI/CD, testing and production deployment

Experience developing systems for security, defence, emergency services, command-and-control, incident management, GSOC/SOC environments or other operational applications would be highly desirable.

The successful candidate should be able to take operational requirements and translate them into secure, intuitive and reliable technical solutions.

Experience: Strong proven experience in commercial software development experience.

Engagement: Full-time role, permanent, contract or project-based arrangements considered.

Location: This role is based in Oxford and whilst hybrid, requires you to be on-site on a weekly basis.
