Our client is looking for an experienced stock inventory management and Procurement Assistant to join their small and busy team. A standalone role, this is a fantastic opportunity to demonstrate your experience and expertise whilst having autonomy and also support from a friendly and experienced manager!

Procurement Administrator Responsibilities

Reporting to the Operations Director, this is not your average Procurement role! The Assistant is responsible for ordering, coordinating and maintaining laboratory supplies as well as being the first point of contact for stock control and management as well as internal and external audit requirements. You will coordinate uniform provisions and management of hazardous waste. You will also play a pivotal role in contributing towards SOPs and risk management.

Procurement Administrator Experience

Our client is looking for:

  • A highly organised, proactive individual that is thorough and always exercises attention to detail
  • Demonstrable experience and understanding of stock management ideally within a Biotech or Pharmaceutical setting
  • Experience with quality management systems, e-commerce and purchasing and supply management software..
  • Someone with intermediate proficiency in Microsoft Office suite particularly Excel due to the nature of reporting tasks.
  • An individual educated to A-level or equivalent
  • A skilled problem solver who is able to pre-empt the needs of others, work autonomously and keep the coordination, maintenance and management of stock and stock operations running smoothly in a safe and compliant way.

This is a full time position working 40 hours per week with core working hours of 9am – 5pm Monday - Friday.

Due to the nature of this role and being based within the stock office, this is a fully office based role.
