Temporary EA Responsibilities
This position will involve, but will not be limited to:
- Managing the director’s complex and often changing diary, prioritising schedule demands across internal teams and external contacts.
- Organising high-level meetings, preparing agendas, drafting briefing notes, and taking detailed minutes as required.
- Coordinating travel arrangements, including itineraries, accommodation, and transfers, ensuring smooth logistics.
- Drafting and editing correspondence, reports, and other documents at short notice, maintaining high standards of accuracy.
- Supporting event planning and logistics for fundraising and alumni engagement activities.
- Handling confidential information with discretion and professionalism at all times.
- Managing multiple priorities and deadlines efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
Temporary EA Rewards
- 36.5 hours per week, Monday to Friday, with an unpaid lunch break.
- No parking available on site; the role is based in central Oxford, so please consider transport options when applying.

Temporary EA Experience Essentials
- Proven experience as an executive or senior personal assistant
- Exceptional organisational and time-management skills with the ability to juggle multiple priorities.
- Excellent written and spoken English, with strong proofreading skills.
- Confident in using Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Teams) and internet-based applications.
- Discretion and professionalism when handling confidential information.
- Strong attention to detail, particularly in diary management and travel logistics.
- A quick learner with an understanding of university governance and administrative procedures is advantageous.
Location
Based in central Oxford, the role offers convenient access to transport links. Please note there is no parking on site.
