Contracts Officer

We have registered an exciting temporary opportunity for an expert Contracts Officer to join a fast paced and commercial team for the next few months.

This business works 35 hours per week. This is a temporary position paid on a weekly PAYE basis. This role will start quickly, so sadly candidates with a lengthy notice period cannot be considered.

Temporary Contracts Officer Responsibilities

  • Draft, review and negotiate a range of agreements
  • Work the team to design and implement policies covering contract negotiation
  • Perform comprehensive risk assessments of proposed terms and conditions
  • Follow up on unsigned agreements
  • Utilising the internal systems to file agreements correctly
  • Assist in keeping agreement templates up to date
  • Discuss best practice with team members and support with supervising more junior staff

Temporary Contracts Officer Requirements

  • Proven experience of negotiation and management of contracts gained within a fast paced, commercial business environment
  • Grasp of service level negotiations and understanding of IP and the importance of it
  • Sound understanding of legal contracts
  • Strong IT skills, including advanced MS Office
  • High levels of accuracy and attention to detail
  • Expert organisation and time management

Our client is located in Cowley, Oxford (OX4). There is free onsite parking on site.
