Our client is seeking a proactive Office Administrator to join a small team in a varied and hands-on role. You will support the day-to-day operations, providing vital administrative assistance across multiple projects, gaining exposure to all aspects of the business, making it an ideal position for someone who thrives on variety and enjoys being at the heart of everything.

Office Administrator Responsibilities

This position will involve, but will not be limited to:

  • Work closely with the Operations Director and wider team to ensure the smooth and professional running of the office.
  • Provide broad administrative support, including document preparation, filing, call handling, and general correspondence.
  • Assist with creating pricing spreadsheets, quotes, purchase orders, and invoices, and input data into the project management system.
  • Manage logistics tasks such as packing samples, booking couriers, scheduling warehouse deliveries, and ordering office supplies.
  • Coordinate supplier and client communications, support research into new suppliers, and help organise sample materials for case studies and website updates.
  • Act as the go-to person for organisation, for documentation, answering the phone and managing deliveries

The Company

Our client is a dynamic and successful business, with a small, hardworking, close-knit team.  This is a full-time role working 37.5 hours per week Monday - Friday.

Office Administrator Essentials

  • Proven experience in an office-based administrative role, ideally within a small business environment.
  • Confident and personable communicator, comfortable engaging with both internal teams and external suppliers.
  • Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy, especially when handling data and working with Excel.
  • Highly adaptable and capable of managing multiple tasks and projects at once.
  • Thrives under pressure and remains effective when working to tight deadlines.
  • Brings a positive, can-do attitude with a proactive and hands-on approach to daily tasks.

Location

Based in South-East Oxfordshire with hybrid-working available (4 days in the office, 1 day at home).
