Please note, this is a temporary position paid on a weekly PAYE basis. This role will start quickly, so sadly candidates with a lengthy notice period cannot be considered.

Temporary Senior Academic Manager Responsibilities

  • Managing the day-to-day activities of the Academic Office
  • Line managing a team of 3 administrators
  • Monitoring, reporting and ensuring compliance with the Equal Opportunity Legislation
  • Coordinating examination, matriculation, induction and graduation activities
  • Ensuring appropriate provision of resources across subjects
  • Acting as a first point of contact
  • Acting as Disability Lead
  • Liaising with the central administration team
  • Liaising with schools, potential applicants and their parents

Temporary Senior Academic Manager Requirements

  • Previous experience as a Line Manager
  • Strong administration and operations background
  • Ideally experience within the higher education sector
  • Ability to liaise across the organisation with various stakeholders
  • Ability to multi-task and prioritise effectively

Location

Our client is based in Oxford (OX1) with parking available onsite.
